Diefenbach is developing from over a century, exactly since 1907. This development is concretized in design and in a production of machineries for “sludge” filtration and dehydration.
The company ownes its name to the founder, Giorgio Diefenbach, who, at the beginning of the XX century in Monza (near Milan) opened a factory for presses production.
The target of the presses was the squeezing of the olives, process that needed, at the end, the “cleaning” of the product through the aid of filter presses, also made by Diefenbach.
In the 1950 the company focuses the production exclusively on the filter presses, able to filtrate oils and purifies the industrial wastewater.
From the beginning to the present, Diefenbach has been able to develop a know-how to allow itself to product over than 50 machines per year that operate in all the fields where the filtration is necessary. These fields range from Mining to Food Industry, each filter press borns to satisfy the specific requirements of our customers.

DIEFENBACH RECESSED FILTER PRESS
THE BEST CHOICE FOR THE DEHYDRATION OF SLUDGE WITH HIGH SUSPENDED SOLIDS CONCENTRATION IN THE INLET AND LOW MOISTURE IN THE FINAL PRODUCT.
The recessed filter press functioning is based on the high pressure filtration method. In the present Industry it’s the most widespread type of slurry dewatering machine.

The tests we make in our laboratories offer the opportunity to simulate every process scenario (recessed plate and mix membrane plate with different thickness of the chamber, washing cake, squeezing and blowing of the cake).
Tests help us to choose the best cloth for your sludge and help us to optimize parameters like working pressure and temperature.The versatility of our pilot filters offers the opportunity to make tests directly from our customers using a little quantity of sludge.
